My Route and local storage
My Route stores a small set of planning preferences in the browser’s local storage. The selections may include a goal, planning stage, time horizon, and U.S. or global focus. The feature is designed not to request balances, account numbers, government identifiers, addresses, or identity documents. Local Route data is not sent to Nortune by the feature and can be reset from the page or removed through browser controls.
Website measurement
Nortune uses first-party operational measurement to understand whether a public page or tool is useful. The event record may include a public route or tool slug, language, page type, a coarse new-or-returning browser state, an operation such as compared or exported, or the length of a search query. It does not include a persistent visitor identifier, and Nortune does not persist the request IP address, full user-agent string, or cookies with the event.
Nortune does not send the raw search term, calculator values, budget entries, balances, payments, APRs, imported records, email addresses, or account identifiers. The Debt & Cash-Flow Workspace may report that it was started, compared, completed, or exported, but not the values entered or the exported file. Optional third-party analytics remains disabled by default; any future provider activation requires a separate consent and retention review.
Apps and calculators
The published apps and calculators run in the browser. Their product pages explain the applicable local-storage, import, export, backup, and share-link behavior. Nortune’s automated privacy tests reject third-party requests after financial inputs are entered. First-party operational events are restricted to the public tool and operation names described above. A shareable calculator link may contain the assumptions visible in the URL; review it before copying or sending it.
Affiliate redirects
Affiliate redirects may record a minimal aggregate event such as the redirect slug and the Nortune referring path. The event design excludes an IP address, email address, Route selection, calculator value, imported financial record, full user-agent string, or account identifier.
Email and direct contact
When you email Nortune, the message and associated contact information are processed to respond, route the request, protect the service, and maintain necessary records. Do not send sensitive financial, identity, medical, tax, or account information.
Third-party destinations
Links may lead to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. Nortune does not control how those providers collect or use information after you leave this site.
Your controls and questions
You can clear local storage through My Route, an individual tool, or your browser. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to [email protected]. Applicable rights depend on your location and the nature of the information involved.
